Accessibility statement
PewToYou wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is also at the heart of what we build for churches.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we also follow the newer WCAG 2.2 additions where they apply.
What we've done
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast requirements in both light and dark mode.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Form fields have visible labels, and optional fields are marked.
- Pages reflow to a single column on small screens and when zoomed up to 400%.
- We use a typeface designed for readers with low vision (Atkinson Hyperlegible).
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- We test pages with automated tools and by hand.
Known limitations
Our sample church site links to YouTube, which we don't control. If something there isn't accessible to you, let us know and we'll help.
Tell us about a barrier
If anything on this site is hard to use, please tell us through our contact form. Describe the page and the problem, and we'll respond and work on a fix.
