How we handle your information

The short version: we only collect what you type into our forms, we only use it to reply to you, and we never sell or share it for marketing.

What we collect

When you send our contact form, we receive your name, your church's name, your email address, and, if you add them, your church's website and a message. We also note whether you asked for a free accessibility check.

When you send our "I'm interested" form, we receive the same details plus, if you add them, a phone number, the best time to call, and which services you'd like help with.

We don't use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies, and this site doesn't load anything from other companies while you browse it. Our fonts and scripts are served from this site.

Where it's stored

Your submission passes through and is stored with these services, each under its own privacy and security policies:

ServiceWhat it holdsWhy
NetlifyYour full submission, plus standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for every visitHosts this website and receives the form
Akismet (through Netlify)Your submission, checked onceFilters out spam
SmartsheetYour name, church, email, website, message, free-check request, and (from the "I'm interested" form) phone number, best time to call, and services you'd like. For free checks, also the notes from testing your church's website by handOur list of inquiries, so nothing gets missed
Google (Gmail)An email copy of your submission, and any emails we exchangeSo we can reply to you

Our website code is stored on GitHub and our domain's settings are managed by Cloudflare, but neither receives anything you send us.

Who can see it

Only Cary Stolarczyk, who runs PewToYou. The one exception: if you request a free accessibility check, the person who tests websites by hand for us sees your church's name and website address, but not your name, email, or message. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

If your church doesn't become a client, we delete your inquiry within 12 months. If we work together, we keep your contact details for as long as we're working together.

Free accessibility checks

If you request a free check, we scan the public pages of your church's website, the same pages anyone can visit. A person also tests a few of those pages by hand, the way visitors who use a keyboard, a screen reader, or screen magnification would, and their notes are stored in Smartsheet. The report is prepared and stored on Cary's computer and emailed to you. We don't publish or share it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it at any time. Just send a note through our contact form and mention "privacy request", or email us directly at .
